Toshi Sabri & Prajakta Shukre are going to perform at AANSU Night'08, which will be held at BCFCC on 7th of August 2008. This program has been organized by Windmill Advertising Limited for Alumni Association of North South University (AANSU). In this night, Alumni of North South University will also enjoy performances by Topu & Anila along with gala dinner, a glorious fashion show, DJ performance and many more.

Rest In Peace Ishmeet Singh
Ishmeet Singh 18, has died after drowning in the swimming pool, of his hotel Chaaya Island Dhonveli today. The famous indian singer arrived in Male' this morning, to perform in the Star Voice of Maldives, short to be held on 1st August. He also participated in the Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar Show on Star Cahnnel. He is a pupular contestant of Star voice of India, and has many fans, in India and Maldives, and abroad.

Ishmeet Singh, is an 18 year old boy from Ludhiyana used to suffer from stage fear in his childhood. The fear was overcome after he sang in front of a huge crowd in the Delhi Audition of Star Voice of India.
He is a true fan of Shaan and considers him as his idol. He also admires A. R. Rehman and his dream is to sing for him.
He was among the top 2 finalists on Star Voice of India and was crowned the winner on November 24, 2007. He was also one of the contestants of Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar, a singing competition on Star Plus channel and represented the Champions team. He was eliminated on June 20, 2008

Star Voice Of India-2
Second Season of Amul Star Voice Of India will begin July 18, Fri and Sat at 10 pm on Star Plus.
With the clutter of music reality talent hunt shows on television, it becomes difficult to differentiate one from another. Shaan has lent his voice to some of the best Bollywood compositions and has been hugely rewarded for his splendid performances with a host of awards. Known for calming and encouraging the anxious participants before and after their performances, Shaan has popularly earned the title of 'India's favourite host'. Having won accolades for his music in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Sawaariya, Monty Sharma is set to join the hunt to find India's leading voice in the second season of Star Plus' Voice of India as a judge. This will be his first endeavour as a judge in which he will also be joined by his mentor, Ismail Darbar as a co-judge.
Monty Sharma started his musical career with Ismail Darbar and worked with him as a keyboard player. He also helped Ismail compose the music of hit movies Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Devdas before he composed music independently for Black and Saawariya. Boosting of a musical lineage, Monty is the nephew of well known Indian music composer, Pyarelal and grandson of Pandit Ramprasad Sharma who has also been his guru from the age of five years!

Voice Of India 2 is also Sukhwinder Singh's first endeavor as a judge. Sukhwinder is a renowned Bollywood playback singer with the hit song Chaiyya Chaiyya to his credit for which he also won the 'Best Male Playback' award at the 1999 Filmfare Awards. He gave his maiden stage performance at the age of 7 years and later joined Laxmikant-Pyarelal's troupe as a music arranger.
Sukhwinder is excited about his new role as a judge of the series after having made a special appearance on Chhote Ustaad and a stage performance on Indian Idol. Being a playback singer himself and an opinionated one, Sukhwinder is set to keep a close watch on the playback singing capabilities of the talent on the show

Ishmeet Eliminated
Ishmeet Singh the former winner of SVOI was eliminated on Friday on Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar.
Toshi was also in the bottom 3 but it came down to Hasrhit and Ishmeet in the end.It was a tough battle for Ishmeet in Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar and he did have some great days and some bad days.Ishmeet fans don't have to be sad cause he had already won SVOI.

Yes it's true Toshi has made his Bollywood Singing Debut with this song Jaage Hain Baad Muddat Ke fromt he newly released movie Summer 2007.

Toshi may be singing for A. R. Rehman
Rumours have arose that Toshi has been offered to sing for A. R. Rehman and has accepted the offer, but has to be confirmed yet. It has been confirmed by Shaan. Toshi, along with Irfan, Abhaas and Prantik are singing as playback singers in Bollywood.
Lets just hope that Toshi does sing for Bollywood and A.R. Rehman did have an eye on Toshi so the rumors do make sense.

Toshi Attacked
Toshi Sabri survives heinous attack
Toshi Sabri of Voice of India fame was rushed to Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai on Sunday, after he was attacked by four unknown persons. According to a news channel, the singer from Jaipur suffered injuries on his head after being hit by a hammer.
It’s still unclear as to who the assailants were and what their motive was. Toshi was brought to the hospital by his brother. Toshi’s VOI co-contestant Irfan, who is currently at the hospital said, “None of us has any clue as to what happened last night. The police are here and they are investigating the matter. We were only concerned about Toshi’s safety. The doctors successfully operated on him a while ago. He’s out of danger and has regained consciousness. However, he’s still in the ICU.”
Irfan adds, “From what I know is that this incident took place after Toshi was returning from his friend’s place in Andheri. Some miscreants attacked him from behind and left him bloodied. I’m just glad that my friend has survived.”
